okay, forgive me. i’m going out on a massive limb here and hoping for the best. sorry for clogging your dash, and your tags, and your tumbling experience but—well, desperate times call for desperate measures.

if you don’t know, my name is ali. i am 24 years old, and am currently a resident in one of the hardest hit states for the recession—california. i’ve been looking for work since december, have applied to… literally every place i can think of and have not received word back anywhere, despite desperate callbacks and practically begging. i’ve got nothing to pawn or sell, i’ve got no friends or family.

you already know where this is going, and i’m so sorry.

i’m about to be kicked out of my home. well, allow me to correct myself—my father is kicking me out of his home, or going to, if i can’t come up with any money. he believes i’ve been contributing little to the homestead, as i’ve been unable to provide financial payments for my current residency. i’m trying desperately, desperately to get ANY sort of job but, it seems in this day and age, even mcdonald’s is uninterested in hiring me.

i would never normally do this, i really wouldn’t because it’s awful and i hate begging for charity, but i’m desperate. if i get kicked out, i’ve got nowhere to go—or, allow me to stand corrected once again. if i get kicked out, the only places i have to go are financially out of my means, as i’ve got something like ten dollars left to my name.

there’s a button, on my blog. it’s a donate button. god, i hate asking. i really do, it feels awful and i’ve got no way of repaying you, though i’m willing to figure it out, if you’d like—i write, and from what i’ve been told, it’s not too bad. i’m just wondering if maybe—maybe you had something to spare, just to keep a person in a home until they can gather up the ability to leave it. or maybe if you don’t, maybe reblogging this so that someone who might be able to help can. i don’t know. i’m really at my wit’s end. i’ve got nothing and i’m just trying to figure this out.
